  • Do Black Incarcerated Lives Matter? Support Mfalme Sikivu and end Solitary!

    Many of you know or know of our incarcerated comrade Mfalme Sikivu (Dontie Mitchell).  Mfalme has been an organizer inside for over 20 years and a mentor as well.  He is an outspoken revolutionary, and the founder of UFD (Ujaama Fraternal Dynasty), an organization aimed at uplift for Black and oppressed peoples.  Last week, Mfalme was once again attacked by CO's and put in solitary, this time with all of his legal papers, both for UFD and for his own case, confiscated.  It is likely no accident that Mfalme was working with organizers to support upcoming rallies for cleme

  • Blood on Floor, No Soap/Toilet Paper, Mixing Male/Female Populations - Smith County TX Jail -

    There is an urgent need for immediate remedy in Smith County Texas and their jail facility. There is reported blood, urine and feces that goes uncleaned in the booking cells where immune compromised / HIV infected individuals are being kept from up to 7 - 9 days before being booked or introduced into a 14 day quarantine area. While in booking, they only have a chair and toilet. There is no blankets or anything for sleep provided. Medicine for those who require it is also not be being provided, where individuals are getting seizures because of not providing seizure medication.

  • PHONE ZAP: HARASSMENT OF TALIB WILLIAMS BY RACIST SOLEDAD PRISON OFFICIALS

    In Soledad Prison, there is a strong undercurrent of racism and racial profiling from Warden Craig Koenig. The harassment of Talib Williams at the hands of Soledad State Prison guards has resulted in Talib being found guilty of bogus charges and famiily  visits were taken away for five years. These new charges tarnish Talib's chances before the parole board next summer.

  • Ware State Prison Post-revolt Repression

    Updates from inside as of August 10th. 
    • They are being fed spoiled food
    • Commissary is restricted, prohibiting them from supplementing their diet
    • All communication is restricted, whether thru emails, phone or mail.
    • "We don't have stamps and the warden said we ain't getting any."
    • They didn't receive any incoming meal for a week. 
    • Being left in their cells, no officer on post, meaning their health is at stake.
    • Being denied showers, hot meals, and clean water.

  • Free Jason Goudlock and Other Ohio Old-Law Prisoners

    Jason Goudlock and thousands of other old-law prisoners in Ohio should be out of prison. People committing similar crimes under new laws have definite sentences and have since come and gone while the old-law prisoners, like Jason Goudlock, remain locked up. Add to this situation the high risk of contracting COVID-19 and it's clear that these old-law prisoners need to be released NOW!

  • It's not a death sentence!

    Jermon Clark is one man in Beaumont Low Security FCI who caught Covid 19 amid the current outbreak that is running out of control.  In particular, he is high risk with sickle cell and hypertension.  Jermon's charges, his 55 year sentence earned at 16, are based on the crime committed by the older boys he was with.  25 years later, those charges are cited as the reason he can't be released. 

  • Phone/Email Zap Script for Comrade Rashid

    After leading a hunger strike with the participation of close to 200 prisoners during its height and penning several articles in response to the negligent and lackadaisical attitude displayed by prison officials, Rashid was immediately targeted for retaliation.  This came in the form of his money being taken but ordered commissary withheld (withholding commissary is illegal unless it is done as a punitive measure after a prisoner has been charged and found guilty of an infraction which was not the case with Rashid) and his cell being ransacked by officers Corcoran and Long, not once but twice, two days in a row immediately following the articles being published.  One of the guards there at Pendleton even went so far as to tell Rashid while he was being held in the extraction cell during the second cell search, that if he would just stop writing about the conditions there at Pendleton then the abuse and retaliation would end.  During the second extraction and cell search, Rashid's tablet was purposefully shattered in order to prevent him from communicating with the outside world.  His next-door neighbor was able to hear the conversation between the guards and heard one say to the other "Here it is" after finding Rashid's tablet after which it was immediately stomped on repeatedly and crushed. 

    After these failed attempts at coercion, Rashid immediately filed a grievance, as was his right, to protest this illegal action.  Rashid received word just yesterday that the grievance filed in May was denied.  The timing of this decision is worth noting because being that Rashid did not receive a determination for his grievance until just yesterday he was not able to appeal it within the given timeframe paving the way for them to carry out this latest round of retaliatory abuse.

  • Covid-19 Outbreak at Coffee Correctional Center

    Coffee Correctional is the epicenter of the biggest outbreak in Georgia and people incarcerated face a death sentence. Please help these people incarcerated expose this outbreak to the public and work towards freeing them to the care they deserve by taking part in this upcoming phone zap all week long starting Monday, July 6. Please email us with any information you get from the calls. There is a suggested script but please feel free to speak from the heart.

  • Century CI, Florida

    I am hearing about bad conditions at Century CI: punitive lockdowns, dangerous handing of Coronavirus. I don’t have a lot of details. I heard from a person incarcerated there last week but have had no response from him since. He was asking specifically that phone calls be made to Tallahassee. Is this on the radar? Can a phone zap be done for this institution?
