I am calling on behalf of a community of people who are concerned about reports we are hearing out of SCI Greene. We are reporting that a correctional officer named R. Siebert, also known as “The Smirker,” has been exhibiting neglectful and violent behavior on I-Block, going so far as to deliberately ignore prisoners’ asking for help. We are asking that C.O. R Siebert be terminated from his position at SCI Greene for engaging in the following reported activities: 

1. Turning the volume up on the block tv with the remote to drown out the Prisoners' vocal requests. Smiling while doing so;

2. Depriving hungry Prisoners their trays while smiling past their cells pushing the food cart;

3. Lying on Misconduct Reports

4. Reading Inmate Grievance Forms without any prisoners’ consent 

5. Reading, editing, and/or misplacing outgoing prisoners’ grievance forms

6. Refusing legitimate requests by prisoners for paperwork (such as Inmate Grievance Forms, Sick Call Slips, & other request forms)

7. Misplacing prisoner mail and placing outgoing mail into the wrong boxes

8. Refusing to provide grievance and sick call slips

We demand that C.O R Seibert be terminated from his position. He has gone above and beyond to make imprisoned peoples at your facility miserable. with these actions causing the Prisoners to suffer longer under these conditions of deliberate neglect with a perpetual smile behind his COVID mask while making his rounds and exits.
